North Africa Overview:
North Africa is very much an extension of the Middle East
culture, having predominantly Arabic roots and a Muslim culture,
though the atmosphere is religiously more relaxed.
In some countries there is political unrest and in specific
countries terrorism is government supported.
Middle East Overview:
A major influence on the world economy because of the control
of the flow of oil, the Middle East is a bed of political
and religious diffficulties.
Whilst there is a growing desire for western technology,
consumer goods and industrial services, the growth of Muslim
fundamentalism, anti-western feelings and organised and state
sponsored terrorism has made this region and often difficult
and dangerous place to trade.
